Terms & Conditions of Service

Welcome to Suncoast Shine Co. By scheduling or receiving service from our company, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms exist to protect your property, ensure safety, and establish fair expectations.

1. Scope of Services

Suncoast Shine Co. provides professional pressure washing and exterior cleaning services, including but not limited to: house washing, roof cleaning, driveway/paver cleaning, window washing, gutter cleaning, lanai and fence cleaning, and deck restoration.

Each service is quoted individually based on square footage, surface type, service scope, and condition. Custom jobs outside our standard offerings may require a separate written agreement.

2. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safe and effective service, customers must:

  • Provide clear access to water and electrical hookups (if applicable)

  • Ensure all windows and doors are closed prior to service

  • Remove vehicles, furniture, and personal belongings from service areas

  • Keep pets and children indoors or safely away from the service zone

  • Notify Suncoast Shine Co. of any delicate surfaces, materials, or structural vulnerabilities (e.g. loose siding, cracked windows, untreated wood)

 

Failure to disclose known issues or prepare the property may result in property damage for which we are not liable.

3. Property Damage Waiver

Although we use safe, professional equipment and techniques, pressure washing carries inherent risks. Suncoast Shine Co. is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing conditions that worsen due to pressure or chemicals

  • Paint oxidation, surface etching, or sealant stripping

  • Water intrusion due to improperly sealed windows or siding

  • Landscaping disturbance from overspray or chemical runoff

  • Damage to personal property not removed from the service area

 

We recommend customers photograph their property before service. Damage must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.

4. Stains & Organic Growth Disclaimer

Not all stains can be removed with pressure washing. Rust, oil, irrigation marks, heavy organic growth (mold/algae), and efflorescence may require specialized treatment.

Suncoast Shine Co. does not guarantee complete stain removal, especially if the surface is compromised or if the stain has chemically bonded to the substrate.

5. Weather & Rescheduling Policy

Services are weather-dependent. We may reschedule due to:

  • Rain, lightning, or high wind conditions

  • Extreme temperatures affecting chemical application

  • Safety concerns for technicians

 

We will notify you promptly and reschedule at the next available date. Clients may reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice. Same-day cancellations may incur a $50 fee.

6. Payments & Invoicing

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept credit/debit card payments, cash, or online payment through our secure system.

Invoices not paid within 7 calendar days are subject to late fees of $25 per week. Recurring unpaid balances may result in suspended service or collections.

7. Subscriptions & Recurring Services

Recurring services (e.g., window cleaning subscriptions) are billed per frequency chosen—monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual.

Currently, recurring billing is handled manually or via our secondary payment portal. Cancellation requires 7-day written notice before the next billing cycle.

8. Service Satisfaction Guarantee

We pride ourselves on excellent service. If you're unsatisfied with any aspect of your cleaning, please notify us within 48 hours of job completion and we will return to address the issue free of charge.

This guarantee does not apply to:

  • Results limited by pre-existing damage or environmental conditions

  • Stains or defects disclosed as non-removable prior to service

9. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Suncoast Shine Co. is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of revenue, use, or data

  • Any claim exceeding the cost of the service provided

10. Use of Media

With your permission, we may use before-and-after photos or videos of your property for marketing and educational purposes. No personally identifiable information will be included.

If you prefer we do not capture or use such media, please let us know before service begins.

11. Changes to Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
